Snoop Lion went full-fledged Reggae on his latest release, Reincarnated. If you felt his transformation was a little too drastic, don’t count on anything changing soon. The legendary Los Angeles native returns today with more Caribbean influenced tunes on a new project called Ashtrays and Heartbreaks: The Mixtape.
Snoop connected with Max Glazer of Federation Sound to deliver 32 tunes for your listening pleasure. Certain records also appeared on Reincarnated — like the Miley Cyrus-assisted title track— while others are entirely new songs from artists like Jovi Rockwell, Angela Hunte, Jahdan Blakkamoore and more.
The tape infuses additional reggae and dubstep influences for a brand new sound. In other words, expect a soncally pleasing experience from this mixtape.
