Andre Iguodala & Marcus Troy Create Sick Bespoke Nike Air Force 1s For Giveway [PHOTOS]
NBA star Andre Iguodala and highly regarded lifestyle blogger Marcus Troy have hooked up a sick pair of bespoke Nike Air Force 1s. Only 10 are in existence and you’re only chance to snag a pair is via a contest they put together; trust, you want these in your collection.
The kicks were created to commemorate the launch of Iguodala’s mindofai9.com, which will serve as the online destination for everything about the high flying forward. The Smoking Section details why you should be lusting over the custom crafted Air Force 1.
To commemorate the site’s launch, Marcus and Andre traveled to 21 Mercer in NYC to create a custom Bespoke Nike Air Force 1, inspired by the strong history of the Air Jordan 1 but given added touches that made them unique to Andre: a black and red color scheme, reptile leather detailing, premium leather liners and adorned with Andre’s new “AI9″ logo on the heel. Those familiar with the Bespoke program know they come with a $850 price tag because only the best materials are used and Marcus and Andre cut no corners during their visit.
They created 10 pairs total – all crafted by Bespoke designer Mau – and will be giving away nine to lucky winners. To enter, follow @mindofai9 and @marcustroy on Instagram as well as @andre on Twitter. Winners will be chosen at random after the contest ends in a few weeks.
