Taking time off from their “Space Migration” tour, Mac Miller and partner in rhyme Vince Staples stopped by Brooklyn’s Grand Street Bakery to discuss Hip-Hop and had an impromptu freestyle session to boot.

Fortunately, FADER TV were there to catch the pair’s comedic exchange on video. Initially Staples compliments the Watching The Movies With The Sound Off rapper on his style. Miller sarcastically replied, “I’m trying out this fashion thing. It’s like music, [claps hands] fashion, that’s the next new thing.”

For the duration of their conversation, the two pretty much exchanged playful banter. Staples offered insight into the dynamics of his relationship with the Rostrum artists with very intriguing analogies — he likened himself and his brethren to The Grinch and The Jungle Book characters.

Soon after the California native let off freestyle with many quotables, ranging on a multitude of subjects from fine dining to exotic dancers. If you aren’t familiar with his work is his recently dropped his Stolen Youth project (completely produced by Miller).
