At a recent town hall meeting last weekend, Florida congressman Ted Yoho was critical of gay marriage, accused immigrants of being terrorists, and even managed to reignite the “birther” debate. The strangest declaration, however, was the Republican lawmaker saying that Obamacare is racist against white people.

Yoho’s speech was leaked to the Internets earlier today by People For The American Way’s right-wing watchdog group, Right Wing Watch. The congressman rambled about supporting potential birther legislation from Texas Rep. Steve Stockman, ultimately stating that the law was a “distraction” but hopes it comes to pass to remove Obama from office.

“They said if it is true, it’s illegal,” said Yoho of the possible legislation. “He shouldn’t be there and we can get rid of everything he’s done, and I said I agree with that.”

Yoho dropped more stunning words in the nearly 90-minute speech, but things took a turn when he began to discuss the Affordable Care Act, aka “Obamacare” and called the law racist because of a sun tanning tax.

“I had a little fun with [House Speaker John] Boehner and told him about the sun tanning tax,” said Yoho. “He goes, ‘I didn’t know it was in there,’ and I said, ‘Yes, it’s a ten percent tax.’”

Yoho continued, “He goes, ‘You know what, it is.’ I had an Indian doctor in our office the other day, very dark skin, with two non-dark skin people, and I asked this to him, I said, ‘Have you ever been to a tanning booth?’ and he goes, ‘No, no need.’ So therefore it is a racist tax.”
