N.O.R.E. returns for with an remix for his s-xually charged, but albeit hilarious track “She Tried.”
Like the original, this version features Lil Wayne chanting “She tried to kiss me after head/F**k wrong with your head,” on a catchy chorus. But this time, Birdman and the long-absent Ja Rule assist the Queens rapper with a few complimentary verses.
“She Tried” debuted on N.O.R.E.’s Student Of The Game album earlier this year, but the remix will live on the forthcoming Good Belt Gang project. If you didn’t know, G.B.G. is a group Melvin Flynt formed with fellow New York City MCs Vado and Young Reallie.
The collective will deliver a compilation project due out sooner than later. Expect a visual for their first release “Hood BBQ” as well.
