Glee star Naya Rivera is venturing into the music game, and returns today with “Sorry,” the first single from her debut album set to release via Columbia Records. Power 106 premiered the track, which features the actress’ beau Big Sean.

Rivera sings about a love that wasn’t mean to be on a song that oozes with early 2000s R&B and pop influences. Despite its nostalgic feel, the tune manages to sound concurrent rather than dated.

The G.O.O.D. Music MC laced his girlfriend with a hot sixteen. “My girl so fine that you scared to tell her hi,” raps Sean over the jazzy production. Don’t be surprised if “Sorry” makes some noise on the charts. Hear why below.
