After teasing fans with an ambiguous trailer, Childish Gambino unveils the director's cut of his short film Clapping For The Wrong Reasons. The visual is a mockumentary of sorts that follows the rapper-actor, formally known as Donald Glover, and his random encounters.
This all happens at the Temple, a lavish mansion in Los Angeles' Pacific Palisades. But Gambino isn't there alone; a host of close friends also occupy the space and a list of his famous friends drop by. Guests include Flying Lotus, Trinidad Jame$, Danielle Fishel (Topanga from Boy Meets World), Chance The Rapper, and more.
Adult film start Abella Anderson even shows face, though no one knows who she is or who invited her.
Nevertheless, the events that take place at the Temple are organic, awkward, and sometimes very uncomfortable. Gambino manages to preview from new music while he's at it too.
