TDE’s next in line, ScHoolboy Q, hopes to create a polarizing effect similar to that of his partner in rhyme, Kendrick Lamar, with his forthcoming LP Oxymoron. The Los Angeles-bred rapper recently sat with the good folks at The Stashed to discuss his major label debut, having to re-shoot the “Collard Greens” visual and more.

Like most Hip-Hop acts in this day and age, Q had numerous full-length projects before inking a deal. With this cannon of music to judge from, he says he’s outdone himself this time. “This me. This album is like really me. It’s my life,” Quincy affirmed.

He continued, “This album is crazy, honestly. It’s my best work. I mean I know a lot of rappers say that when they drop their album but you know, I’m one of them dudes that, you know…it ain’t like I drop mixtapes. I drop songs every month to let you know I’m really in the studio. I could easily put a record out and people will be like ‘that’s a mixtape record,’ but that just means it wasn’t good enough to be on your album.”

Hey Q, fans are still waiting on Oxymoron‘s release date bro. Until the TDE affiliate unveils that, get your fill of info about what he’s been cooking up in part one of the interview below.
