Rich Homie Quan hears the whispers and comparisons to another Atlanta artist, and answers appropriately with “Another Me.”
The rising rapper extends a middle finger to his critics and haters over the song’s bouncy production. In the same breath, he says his authenticity separates him from the pack on a catchy chorus that chants, “It can’t be another me.” Quan strategically closed the hook with a potent, but competitive jab: “I’m the future. Stop comparing us.”
Truthfully, the ATLien still has much to prove outside of his smash hit ” Type of Way.” Meanwhile, the rapper he’s often compared to has a penned and performed a growing discography of hits.
