This time, the conspiracy theorists got it right. Late last week a video went viral of a woman's suspect twerking leading to her catching fire. Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host revealed that the video was faked and he was actually behind the hoax.
It turns "Caitlin," who was thought to have uploaded the video, is actually a stunt woman named Daphne Avalon. Kimmel explained that they shot the video a couple of month ago and posted it online without publicizing it at all. After just letting "the magic happen," the clip got more than 9 million views in less than a week.
In full clip (watch below), after the struggle twerker's leg catches fire, Kimmel comes through the door with a fire extinguisher, while hilariously wearing a matching pink t-shirt.
Considering the plethora of news channel and other media that reported on the clip as if it were genuine, including The View, Jimmy Kimmel won.
