UPDATE: Despite previous reports and the vid’s previous labeling, Daft Punk returns with a full-length visual for “Lose Yourself To Dance.” See it after the jump.

Here’s one moment during the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards that you may have missed. During the telecast, the French robots known as Daft Punk debuted a visual for another Pharrell-assisted jam called “Lose Yourself To Dance.”

Less is more in this small screen adaptation for track six on the duo’s Random Access Memories album — it’s actually four minutes shorter and clocks in at just over a minute long.

This was initially thought to be a snippet similar to how “Get Lucky” was previewed via Saturday Night Live. Unfortunately, the video’s “official version” tag infers otherwise.

Also consider this sighting another win for Skateboard P, who has had a stellar year that boasts placements on Daft Punk’s project, Robin Thicke’s monstrous hit “Blurred Lines,” and much more.
