The US government is currently in a shutdown, but Young Buck is a free man. The Nashville rapper made the announcement via (how else?) Twitter today (Oct. 1).

“I’m officially a free man!!!,” read the message from Buck’s verified Twitter account earlier today, followed by a photo confirming he had touched the town along with the words, “Fresh out !!! #turnup.”

The “Money In The Bank” rapper served an 18-month sentence stemming from gun possession charges.

A couple of weeks ago it was revealed that Buck was now out of bankruptcy and also would not have to pay his creditors back, besides the IRS and his lawyers. Which means 50 Cent is out the $171,000 he claims Buck still owes him.

Over under Buck, born David Darnell Brown, is in a studio, right, now?
