The more we hear from Dom Kennedy‘s Get Home Safely, the more conflicted we become, because they’re the type songs we know and love the rapper, but they still feel like poorly timed releases. Perhaps that’s just us, but the Leimert Park rep returns with a tune aptly titled, “Dominic.”

“These n***as talk a lot of sh*t, a lot sh*t about me,” Dom chants on a catchy chorus before saying the same about women. Of course, a hazy beat was used to convey this message.

Credit the production to frequent collaborator, DrewByrd.

“Dominic” is the follow up to Dom’s equally hypnotic, summery track, “South Central Love.” Both will appear on Get Home Safely. Guest appearances are limited to Skeme, Krondon, Nipsey Hussle, and Teeflii. As you can see, it’s a West Coast party. See the track list here.
