Boldy James is just one of a long lineage of talented Detroit MCs. He and producer, Alchemist, are readying a collaborative effort titled My 1st Chemistry Set that features the menacing “Reform School,” featuring Earl Sweatshirt, Da$h, and Domo Genesis.
Separately, the Odd Future duo have been decimating tracks left and right, so you can imagine what they did once paired with two other quality MCs. Syrupy production evokes the spirit of great rapper’s past, as three of the rhyming quartet spit gritty rhymes. Domo’s role is limited to the chorus.
My 1st Chemistry Set releases, Tuesday, October 15. Clocking in at 15-songs, the project also dons features from Vince Staples, Action Bronson, Freeway, King Chip, and more.
