Actor and comedian Donald Glover, aka rapper Childish Gambino, has shared his fears and insecurities many times via his music. Taking to Instagram last night (Oct. 14), Bino revealed his sensitive side once more via a series of handwritten personal notes.

Although Glover has found success on the small screen and as a musician, it appears he still grapples with his growing fame. Using hotel stationery to jot out his thoughts, the Community sitcom star bared his emotions coupled with his signature sarcastic wit via the postings.

From Glover’s Instagram:

I’m afraid of the future

I’m afraid my parents won’t live enough to see my kids

I’m afraid my show will fail

I’m scared my girl with get pregnant at not the exact time we want

I’m scared I’ll never reach my potential

I’m afraid she’s still in love w/that dude

The notes continue down the same path, saying that he’s fears letting people down and that many will think the confessions are just a moment for Glover to puff up his ego and self-image. However, it was the last paragraph of the notes that seemed to hammer home Glover’s reasoning for putting the thoughts up for public viewing.

“I wanted to make something that says, no matter how bad you f-ck up, or mistakes you’ve made during the year, your life, your eternity. You’re always allowed to be better. You’re always allowed to grow up. If you want,” wrote Glover.

Childish Gambino’s third album, Because The Internet, is slated for release this December.
