Not many rising producer and rapper combos have a synergy on wax like Smoke DZA and Harry Fraud. Yesterday, the duo released their latest collaborative effort, “Obey Your Thirst.”
Shifting trap percussion rattles over an ominous melody that almost foreshadows a proper jux. This inspires some braggadocios rhymes from DZA that are very true to his Harlem roots. “Only time I drink Sprite is when it’s lean in it,” he chants on the chorus before commanding all to obey their thirst.
