Who would have ever guessed that Lady Gaga would collaborate with R. Kelly? But then again, like the megastar singer, the Pied Piper of R&B’s pen game speaks for itself, so this was probably a natural marriage.
The track features a very 80s pop-inspired instrumental that comes courtesy of DJ White Shadow. And with that, Gaga holds no punches as she commands her lover to, “Do what you want, what you want with my body.” Kellz, as you know, is no stranger to said instructions and counters with, “I can be the drink in your cup/ I can’t be the green in your blunt/ Your pusher man, I got what you want.”
“Do What U Want” will appear on Gaga’s ARTPOP album, due to release in stores November 11. The singer will release a new song every Monday leading to that date. The project also dons features from T.I., Twista, and Too $hort.
