The highly anticipated TLC biopic, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, aired on VH1 tonight (Oct. 21) and many tuned in while simultaneously participating in running commentary about the film on Twitter. Besides plenty of reminiscing and mostly positive words on Lil Mama’s portrayal of the late Left Eye, the lion’s share of slander was aimed at the alleged exploitive business practices of the group’s old manager, Perri “Pebbles” Reid.

It has long been rumored that Pebbles made a killing off TLC while the group barely made any money (relatively), despite selling millions of records. The movie illustrated plenty of Pebbles’ alleged schemes, from suspect contracts, to mind games, to giving no f-cks about T-Boz dealing with her sickle cell anemia.

Of course, Black Twitter responded in kind with plenty of vitriol, dancing all in the mentions of Pebbles , who was already threatening to sue before the film aired. Check out the best (or meanest) of the commentary in the following pages.
