There’s big expectations for the Brooklyn Nets this year. Not only do they have future Hall of Famer, Jason Kidd at the helm (irresponsibility aside), they obtained two fully capable veterans in Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, who still have a lot of life in their legs.

And then there’s that Shawn Carter guy, who’s still guilty by association.

Yes, BK pride runs deep in Hip-Hop’s veins and now we have three blue-collared MCs putting in work in the name of their beloved borough. The first scratch off of Coalmine Records upcoming compilation, Unearthed pits rogue rhyme-slinger, Sean Price, Billy Danze (of M.O.P. fame) and talented young buck, Maffew Ragazino in a ring of rap fire.

Scored by M-Phazes, and scratches by DJ Babu (Dilated Peoples), the record packs a punch of crossover energy while still maintaining its lyrical integrity.

Push play and try not to get a crick in your neck. If you’re a Brooklynite, you’ll appreciate the track that much more.
