The rap game collectively tipped its hat to Jay Z, who turned 44-years-old yesterday. Brooklyn MC Skyzoo took it a level higher, though, as he delivers an EP called An Ode To Reasonable Doubt.

The project is actually a collaborative effort produced entirely by Philadelphia native Antman Wonder, who put his own spin on nine songs from the classic LP. The likes of “Can I Live,” “Dead Presidents,” and “Can’t Knock The Hustle,” have all been reworked and include potent verses from Skyzoo.

A special message written on the back cover of the EP states, “To Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter: Thank you for raising us, a complete generation, via your heinous experiences, unparalleled triumphs, and unbridled honesty. This is an ode to those moments. Enjoy.”

An Ode To Reasonable Doubt dons guest appearances from Torae, Diizco, Sha Stimuli, Mela Machinko, and more. Each take on the integral role artists like Mary J., Memphis Bleek, and others played in crafting the original. Stream and download the EP below.
