Lupe Fiasco‘s last few visuals have been spot on. And that continues with this clip for his Ed Sheeran-assisted track, “Old School Love.”

Here, the Chicagorilla takes viewers back to a better time in life: childhood. This treatment looks to be as therapeutic for Fiasco, who can be seen watching news about the violence plaguing the Windy City, as it is for listeners. At an early point in the record, the MC references a conversation he had with a teenager growing up in the Chi. Despite the city’s crime issues, Lu tells the young man that this will be the best time in his life.

That bit of wisdom pretty much sums of the song and its accompanying video’s theme. “Old School Love” will appear on Fiasco’s upcoming Tetsuo & Youth album, due to release in 2014. Check out “Old School Love” below.
