If this is a byproduct of the “Beyoncé effect,” we’ll take it. Last night, the LOX dropped a surprise EP called The Trinity on iTunes.

Despite maintaining solid profiles in the Hip-Ho game, it has been a too long 13, going on 14, year since Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P’s last proper album as a group (We Are The Streets).

The Trinity clocks in just four tracks with a couple of guest features from Tyler Woods on “Faded” and Dyce Payne on “Three Kings”

You can cop, The Trinity, which is released by the Yonkers trio’s own D-Block Records, right here. Don’t expect it to sell 823K units like Queen Bey did in a few days, but show support if you’re always beefing about not getting enough real rap nowadays.
