Maybe it is something in the water but Brooklyn has a noted history for producing legendary emcees. Mic Handz wants to be the next addition to that honorable mention list.

As an emerging underground artist, Handz plans to make his mark with his new single “Bright Lights”. Produced by former Jay Z rhyming partner Jaz-O, the song is anchored by a frantic piano sample that is reminiscent of early Just Blaze production.

With Mic Handz commandeering the hook and first verse, Jaz plays clean up nicely by closing out the track with a solid sixteen bars.

“Bright Lights” will be featured on Handz’ forthcoming album Killing The Game, which is set to be released April 2014. You can view the video below.

Let us know if you think if Mic Handz’ future is as bright as the song title in the comments section.
