Jordan Brand has created Terminal 23 at Cafe Rouge in NYC to provide a top notch basketball facility for youth and high school players. Offering a pristine basketball court in what was once a ballroom, the gym is manages to meld NYC hoops with the Jordan Brand aesthetic and one of its marquee endorsers, Carmelo Anthony

Terminal 23 also includes the Cafe Rouge restaurant space which was once part of the iconic Hotel Pennsylvania. From the 1920s to the 1950s, the ballroom, which is where Terminal 23’s actual basketball court is located, hosted indelible acts like Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra and Glenn Miller.

Jordan Brand has made the space available for youth basketball teams and programs until May and it will also host special events. Yesterday (January 14), select media including Hip-Hop Wired were treated to a tour of the building and get to test Anthony’s latest and 10th signature shoe, the Melo M10.

Word is Anthony used the facility to watch the NFL playoffs and has also been known to pop in to check on the kids practicing or to put up some shots.
