As he prepares to take on the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl on February 2, he's been nabbed by Beats By Dre to keep the wheels rolling for their "Hear What You Want" campaign.
The uncensored advertisement begins with the controversial Seahawks cornerback fielding an assortment of interrogating questions in the locker room. They range from his trash talk being a perceivable distraction to the team, to one reporting asking about his fist-fight history as youth to which Sherman replies, "Not everyone from Compton is a gang member."
Ironically, Sherman's version of "Hear What You Want" is proceeded by fellow NFL player Colin Kaepernick whose San Francisco 49ers were just bested by Sherman's Seattle Seahawks. The Niners quarterback saw his fourth quarter; fourth down pass to the end zone deflected at the hands of Sherman which was subsequently intercepted to seal the deal on the Seahawks' win.
Check out the television spot below as always, Aloe Blacc's "The Man" plays throughout. Only this time, Sherman will go ahead and tell you for himself.
