You’re going to love Wale, or a least respect him by the end of 2014 if he remains consistent with his output. Most recently, the MC tagged on a verse onto Lorde’s mega hit “Royals.”

Wale joins his boss, Rick Ross, on the hypnotizing tune, but not without a bit of flair. The beat changes at the close of The Bawse’s verse, which clears the way for Folarin to deliver some of his poetic bars. “Everything is foreign, where of course I love the fornication/ Different cloth n***a, ain’t nothing fabricated/ A lot of thots like a f**king scatterbrain thinker,” he rhymes.

After Wale comes MMG’s reggae affiliate, Magazeen, who closes the track with a brief, but potent verse.

Additionally, Wale’s “Royals (Remix),” premiered by OnlyBlueMoon, came with a note attached, explaining his absence from social media and more. Hear the record below and find his message on the following page.
