Trying to keep up with the Jones as an unsigned artist can be an exercise in futility and one Atlanta rapper just saw his attempts at balling for the camera become accused as being an illegal workout.

Andrae Wilson, who goes by the name “Lil Hot,” is being charged with five counts of theft by receiving a stolen auto, three counts of possession of a vehicle with an altered VIN, identity fraud and driving while license suspended or revoked, reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The stolen cars include, and most likely aren’t limited to, a Ford F-150, a Chevy Avalanche, a stolen Dodge Charger that was taken from the City of Atlanta and a Bentley that was reportedly stolen from College Park in November 2013.

According to Atlanta Police spokesperson Kim Jones, cops busted Wilson with the keys of the Ford F-150 and the Bentley.

All vehicles also had altered VIN #’s on them, a means for police to have difficulty finding the original car.

The rapper, who is also the CEO of Fire Boy Records and probably best known for having a public dispute with Atlanta group Migos, is being held without bond in Fulton County Jail. It’s not his first stint in the facility, as he’s been booked there eight times since 2004, usually for cocaine possession.

This is nothing more than a classic case of “fake it ’til they take it.” Hit the next page for pics of the struggle rapper.
