The people of Delray Beach, Fla. are breathing a sigh of relief after police shot and killed a naked man they say “possessed superhuman strength,” not before he attacked a 66-year-old retired officer and bit off a chunk of a teenager’s face.

It was unknown if there was a valid motive for the attacks but the suspect, who was described as a Black 6’3″ 250-pound male who was “high on something.”

Via Palm Beach Post:

The scene unfolded at about 8:30 p.m. on South Military Trail, north of Lake Ida Road and near The Colony at Delray Beach community. The man, who was not wearing any clothing, was walking north on Military Trail when, for reasons unknown, he assaulted a 66-year-old retired New York City police officer, Bradshaw said.

The retired officer was rushed to Delray Medical Center with serious injuries. The naked man, described as being about 6-foot-3, 250 pounds, then continued north on Military toward the entrance to the Colony where began chasing a man and the man’s 10-year-old son. At some point, the man began fighting with an 18-year-old man and he started biting the 18-year-old on the face, Bradshaw said.

The 18-year-old unsuccessfully tried to fend off his attacker with a box cutter and the deputies on the scene found that their taser attempts were just as futile. Consequently, shots were fired in the suspect’s lower torso which caused him to succumb from the injuries shortly after at Delray Medical Center.

It is being speculated that suspect was drinking the same voodoo Kool-Aid as Rudy Eugene, the equally naked Miami man who was killed by police after he was caught eating the face of a homeless man.

Surprisingly enough, the police have yet to determine if the suspect actually died from his gunshot wounds or whatever devil drug that was enslaving him.
