Kevin Hart is owning the box-office in 2014 and it’s only February.

Last month, he and Ride Along co-star Ice Cube broke the Martin Luther King four-day weekend record with more than $48M in ticket sales.

For his next trick, Hart, along with his powerful social media following, has dismantled another record that was set by his last flick: mobile phone ticket sales.

Fandango moviegoers who bought their tickets for Sony Picture’s About Last Night via mobile devices for a whopping 66 percent of Fandango overall sum, reports TheWrap. It wasn’t just Hart who benefitted from crowds marching in droves to the theaters on an icy President’s Day weekend. Fandango saw their mobile biggest percentage in ticket sales thanks to other films such as The Lego Movie and Robocop.

Fandango president Paul Yanover was obviously thrilled with the news stating, “We are seeing an enormous shift in consumer engagement and commerce on mobile and with our commitment to innovations, Fandango’s mobile app downloads and mobile ticketing percentage will continue to grow.”

Yanover didn’t finish without giving Hart his just due either.

“The record speaks to Kevin Hart’s huge following in social and mobile, plus the growing adoption of mobile devices for movie discovery and ticketing,” he continued. Naturally, Hart shared the same sentiment in his statement.

“This is amazing,” said Hart. “My fans are literally the reason for my success. They have watched me grow into what I am today. They are loyal people and I love them for that.”

Hart has 5.5M followers on Instagram, 9.9M on Twitter and 11.3M on Facebook. It’s kind of hard to go against those type of numbers.
