There’s beauty in the randomness of New York City. Patrons at Sweet Chick, a chicken and waffles spot in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, were unexpectedly treated to an impromptu performance by Wu-Tang Clan MC Raekwon, Thursday (February 20).

The Chef was invited by owner John Seymour to mark the restaurant’s one-year anniversary. Of course, the Staten Island native had to bring that classic Wu flavor, and we’re sure fans wouldn’t have it any other way. He performed classics like “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Ice Cream.”

The MC rocked the crowd from behind the bar alongside Seymour, all while fans flashed cameras of the classic moment. In the heat of the moment, someone even chanted “Chicken rules everything around me,” to which Raekwon replied, “That’s real.”

Peep how it all went down in the footage below.
