Compton rapper, Buddy, has been bubbling for a while due to his smooth tunes and affiliation with Pharrell. To kick 2014 the right way, the rising wordsmith offers up a free album titled Idle Time for our listening pleasure.
This is a West Coast LP through and through, as the aesthetic bleeds the calm, cool, and collected feel of Los Angeles. Credit that in part to production from the likes of Pharrell, Cardo, Boi-1da, Polyester, Chuck Inglish, and more. Skateboard P took the reins on the majority of the sonics, and we assume he guided Buddy while crafting this project. The rapper also received assistance from Kendrick Lamar, Freddie Gibbs, Casey Veggies, Sir Michael Rocks, Robin Thicke, and Miley Cyrus on the guest feature tip.
