Travi$ Scott is proof of what an artist can accomplish prior to releasing an official LP. He’s evolved from a YouTube sensation into a G.O.O.D. Music/Hustle Gang rapper/producer who’s affected the sounds of Jay Z and Kanye West’s most recent projects with an unique fashion sense to boot.

Scott’s style landed him in the most recent issue of The Journal by fashion mainstay Mr. Porter. The 21-year-old spewed some interesting quotes during the chat captured in the associated editorial. He spoke with clairvoyance while describing himself as “a Sid Vicious motherf****r. The rock star of all rock stars,” just after describing college as a way to prepare for working in the real world. It’s no surprise that he dropped out considering his standpoint and the fact that stardom and the real world are far from synonymous.

“Musically, I just want to inspire so many people,” Scott said. The bubbling artist may have a chance to do so this year, as he revealed that his debut album is near completion. Scott remained mum on the major details, but he did describe the sound as “super-eerie.”
