“In this game, it’s all about timing,” chants Rick Ross in the opening moments of his freebie track “Oyster Perpetual.” That surely seems to be the case, as the rap star debuts a visual for the cut with only a week until his sixth studio album, Mastermind, is set to release (March 4).
This clip is a testament to Ross’ success, as director DRE Films video documented the MMG founder’s recent travels. From Las Vegas to New York City, The Bawse flosses his flashy lifestyle, including the Rolex that inspired the song’s title. Meek Mill, Swizz Beatz, DJ Khaled, and more make guest appearances.
Other than sample clearance issues, we can’t see a reason why “Oyster Perpetual” didn’t make the official Mastermind tracklist. But that’s just us. Peep the video for Rick Ross’ buttery smooth jam below.
