Frank Ocean has fans anxious for new music, as he’s currently on hiatus while recording his sophomore LP. Mum is the word on the aforementioned project, but a ray of light comes via a song called “Hero,” featuring the Odd Future singer-songwriter, former members of The Clash, Mick Jones and Paul Simonon, and Diplo.

Presented by Converse for their “Three Artists. One Song” series, the track’s sole purpose is to band together three artists from different genres to create something fresh. The result is a tune with a vintage sound that could have easily come out of the 1950s. Ocean leads the charge with another thought provoking tale that circles back to his Blackness.

He’s backed by Jones and Simonon on the instrumentation. The West Los Angeles Children’s Choir provides additional vocals.
