50 Cent Responds To Tony Yayo’s Frustration, G-Unit Is Over

If you can not be used then you are useless is a motto often implemented throughout the entertainment industry. It seems 50 Cent has applied this to his G-Unit co-horts Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks.

A couple of weeks ago Yayo expressed his disappointment about the lack of unity within the G-Unit Records camp and claimed he was “done with music.” In a response to a fan over Instagram he stated “50 ain’t rocking with me and Banks the same; I layed my life down for the unit but you live and you learn.”

During his recent performance at SXSWBillboard Magazine caught up with 50 to discuss the brewing turmoil and his response was colder than the recent snowpocalypse.

“I had a wonderful journey with the people I grew up with. I think the frustration comes from shock, probably, that it’s not everything they wanted it to be,” Jackson commented.

50 responds to Tony Yayo’s displeasure specifically as well: “…him of all people… it’s not a secret, it’s a known fact that he actually came home form jail with a million dollars and a Bentley. Like, ‘What do you want?'”

He further added, “These guys are millionaires. They’ve made millions of dollars. Why do that then? Whenever there’s no one to blame, you know what game you play, [for] a look. I don’t know what the goal was.”

The “In Da Club” rapper seems to be at peace with the current situation between him and his one time crew. “I don’t believe in looking back. I can care less about things that’s happened in the past. I’m looking forward, at prosperity.”

And what could be interpreted as a personal shot towards Yayo, 50 hints at the tendency of people to come back and embrace you when it is beneficial to them. “I’ve learned: The same person that tells you you’re a piece of sh-t tells you they love you when the right song comes out. ‘My man, 50 back.’ So you can’t be affected by ‘I hate you’ because it won’t allow for something good to come in.”

What do you make of all this? Do think 50 should be more accommodating given his new situation or is he right to move on? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
