Anyone who says street rap is dead must not keep up with veteran MC Sean Price. Today, the Brownsville wordsmith returns with a new track called “Barbiturates,” featuring Labba, Rim, and Illa Ghee.
Any familiarity with the song’s title infers that you’re knowledgeable on sedatives. However, despite that ambiance of this record, nothing about it will put you to sleep. Instead, the rhyming quartet deliver grizzly bars over production by the late, great J. Dilla.
