Complex Media and Mass Appeal come together in an unprecedented occasion to present to us Time Alone, an original video series that follows industry leading artists as they interview –themselves.
Directed by Jason Goldwatch, music director and record label exec (see Decon), the series will afford viewers the opportunity to witness the traditional interview format get turned on its axis, “as celebrities face-off with themselves in a series of unexpected and clever questions and answers.” We’ll also get to see subjects like Bun B, Murs, Evidence and more enter a place of reflection, introspection and humor.
It’s an improv game? Something like Jeopardy? They might be talking to themselves, but we’re not sure. Find out when episode 1 debuts Thursday, March 20. Episodes are slated to air weekly. Peep the trailer in the segment below.
