Last year, a new wave of Chicago artist infiltrated Hip-Hop with tunes for different moods. One is East side rapper Lil Bibby, who debuts the long-awaited visual for his Free Crack song “Water” today.

Premiered by by Complex, the clip embraces the 19-year-old’s true life street story, as he cruises his hometown and hits the kitchen with baking soda in tow. Of course, Bibby is a lot more lyrical than, say, a Chief Keef, so the depiction of his story is much more eloquent than the tales heard in the Windy City’s staple, drill music.

The soulful instrumental was produced by Black Metaphor.

Hear more from Lil Bibby on Free Crack, featuring “Water,” a Hit-Boy-produced heater called “Whole Crew,” and a gang of other street records. Also, learn more about the newcomer via our Certified Fresh feature.
