You know sh*t is real when your friendly neighborhood fried chicken joint gets robbed. That’s what happened in Houston, where three men stuck up a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and made off with thousands of dollars.

Reports Click 2 Houston:

Officials say three men pulled up to the Popeyes that was already closed for the night.

Two men got out of the vehicle and threw a brick through a glass window, according to police.

Officials say the two men, who were wearing bandanas over their faces, went inside and held employees at gunpoint while demanding cash.

Police say the men took cash from the register and a safe that was accidently left open.

Authorities believe the men got away with thousands of dollars in cash.

Wait? The safe was “accidentally” left open? Sounds like an inside job. Just saying.

According to authorities no one was injured and they are on the hunt for a dark blue or black Dodge Charger that the thieves used to make their getaway.
