We might be gassing up the crossover that the Golden State Warriors’ Andre Iguodala put on Denver Nugget Quincy Miller last night a tad bit, but not really.
Miller was trying to do what all basketball players are taught early, stop the ball. Unfortunately for him, Iguadola put the rock behind his back from left to right, then quickly crossed over back to his left. Miller reached, and his left leg totally let him down. Miller’s Denver Nuggets ended up beating Iguadola’s Golden State Warriors 100-99, but what most will remember at the end of the day is the former looking like he was sliding into home plate, during a basketball game.
The only thing that will stop Iggy’s move from becoming truly legendary is that he didn’t make a bucket after the devastating move. It’s still a treat to watch, though. Do so.
