Anthony “Treach” Criss of Naughty by Nature currently has bigger issues than worrying about how many digs he can exchange with his estranged band member Vinnie.

The group’s frontman was recently arrested in New Jersey after eyewitnesses say he was driving through at least nine blocks at high rates of speed in an effort to elude the cops.

Struggle reported by NJ.com:

Anthony “Treach” Criss of Naughty by Nature, a Grammy Award-winning hip hop trio from East Orange, was arrested today in Union City on the charge of eluding police, officials said.

Criss, of Massachusetts, made his first court appearance on the charge in Central Judicial Processing court in Jersey City, where his bail was set at $15,000 cash or bond.

Criss operated a motor vehicle on a street or highway and attempted to elude law enforcement officers after being given a signal to stop, the criminal complaint says, adding that Criss drove nine blocks in a high traffic area at a high rate of speed.

After Criss’ appearance, his attorney, Darryl Smith of Jersey City, said he had no comment on the charge at this time.

To make matters worse, court officials said Treach won’t be able to post bail before he gets his child support struggle square away in Passaic County.

At press time, it is Vinnie who is having the last laugh.
