Rick Ross went the cinematic route in this new visual for “Thug Cry,” featuring Lil Wayne, from his Mastermind LP. Actor Wood Harris stars as the protagonist, who we know little about at first.
Early in the treatment, we see him go through the motions of being released from prison 24 hours prior to freedom. As the clip progresses and Harris becomes a free man, viewers will see what landed him behind bars in the first place. Meanwhile Ross and Wayne deliver their bars in performance scenes that are up to usual rapper standards.
