Since catching his infamous federal gun charge in 2007, T.I. has become a changed man. Sure, he still endorses the trap, raps about guns, drugs, money, strippers and the liberties he takes with “your girl,” but there is something different about the Atlanta rapper.
Something that is hard to explain. By night, Mr. Harris seems to be a mild mannered MC who takes care of family and is one of the most prolific Southern MCs of the last decade. But, on some days, he seems to be a super hero of sorts, able to save lives, rescue distressed women and put an end to rap wars in a single bound. There are several instances over the past seven years Tip has been involved in that might make one ponder if he was actually in prison on those two occasions or at Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters.
