Tyga was never a leading candidate to be in a public beef, but c’est la vie. Today, his messaging is a lot calmer on a new track called “We Don’t Die.”
While the YMCMB affiliate has flourished in the past on club-friendly records, this song is better suited for a car or headphones. Tyga maneuvers the pockets of the Dupri-produced cut with precision, but it’s a Reggae-inspired chorus that brings everything together. Bar-wise, expect all of T-Raw’s usual slick, affluent talk.
“We don’t die/ Running through the jungle tryna stay alive/ True to yourself, never been no liar/ Thought mama told you not to play with fire,” the rapper chants.
