Hip-Hop’s professional wrestling fans have found a community in the emerging cult sub-genre “WrassleRap.” Wale, an avid member, debuted a song called “Razor Flow (Bad Guy)” via The Stashed.

Folarin flexes his knowledge of vintage wrestling facts, as he name-drops wrestlers that date back to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) days. But this messaging wouldn’t be complete without the interpolation of fan-favorite Razor Ramon’s theme music.

Some are still scratching their heads at the idea of “WrassleRap,” but Wale is but a vessel for the increasingly popular movement. Other MCs like Smoke DZA and A$ton Matthews have also embraced their inner fanboy on wax.
