Update: T.I. took to Instagram  to give his side of the story. He didn’t get two black eyes, as was reported, but he did injure his hand.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has more than a few words about that Fatburger fight with T.I. in Las Vegas over the weekend. While The Kang is keeping quiet, and his wife Tiny (whose honor he was defending) is Instagram flexin‘, Money Mayweather wants to clear up what went on inside the fast food joint.

Mayweather said Tip blew the whole thing out of proportion and that his relationship with Tiny is strictly platonic. “I been knowing Tiny before T.I. I’ve never slept with her, I never kissed her, never touched her in no inappropriate way,” he told Necolebitchie.com.

Tip approached Mayweather before Vegas in New York, also about Tiny posting a photo with with him on Instagram. They settled the issue, then she did it again — while partying with the boxer in Sin City this weekend. That seems to have been the breaking point for T.I.

Nonetheless, he was overreacting, Floyd said. “So Memorial Day weekend a lot of people come out to Las Vegas. Tiny and [her friend] Shekinah was out here. They come to my party last night,” explained the 37-year-old. “They cool. Everything is cool. We was at the strip club. Everything was cordial. We having fun. I throw my daughter [Iyanna] a big [14th] birthday bash today. I’m eating at Fatburger and next thing you know, he walk in talking about we need to talk again. And then I told him, ‘You need to get the f*ck outta’ my face. That’s what you better do.'”

Those words didn’t go over well. T.I. told Mayweather to keep his voice down, and he retorted by trying to test the leader of the Hustle Gange. “I said, ‘Listen, don’t come to my face with no disrespectful sh-t,” he continued. “Like I told you before, you must’ve forgot what I did for a living.’ He said ‘You do in the ring, I do it in the streets.’ I said, ‘My man, I do it everywhere. You can find out if you want to.’ Just like that.”

Other than the verbiage, pushing people, and throwing chairs, nothing else really happened. Mayweather said Tip never threw a punch. “Like I said before, he probably does some foolish things, but he ain’t no damn fool to swing on me. Like, you must’ve forgot what I do for a living.”

The rest of his statement including an apology to Tiny for yelling “control yo b****!” when T.I. got in his face. And he made it clear –again– that he and he and the singer never did anything physical. “I’m not sleeping with that girl [Tiny] and I told that man before. But if I was talk to her about that, don’t talk to me about that. But I’m not going to be disrespectful because I’m not going to sleep with a married woman. Now if she was divorced…I still wouldn’t do that because I’m cool with her and we have a real cool and cordial relationship and sometimes sex can mess a good friendship up.”

There was also a nod to Tip and Tiny’s alleged marital strife. He’s probably not the authority on their personal life, but Mayweather made mention that the two aren’t together. “Tiny is married. I respect that. I don’t care if y’all separated, she’s still married under God’s eyes and the law. I’m not going to sleep with a married woman. I’m not going to do that. Like I said on All Access, I’m becoming a better person.”

That “better person” line might be up for debate, especially from Tip’s viewpoint.
