Father Shaheed, DJ of New Jersey rap group Poor Righteous Teachers, has passed away.
Shaheed was reportedly killed in a motorcycle accident per the official Public Enemy page, which offered it condolences. “The PE family sends condolences out to the family and friends of DJ Father Shaheed from Poor Righteous Teachers, who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident,” read the message.
Starting as a DJ, Shaheed would eventually also contribute production to PRT. “R.I.P. Father Shaheed. The god’s cuts were placed perfectly over dis funky joint……,” tweeted DJ Rob Swift of X-ecutioners fame.
