A former Marine was apprehended on a New York City subway looking like he was ready for an invasion of Fallujah, yesterday May 28.
According to NBC News, police responded to a witness account that they had seen a weapon sticking out of his bag as he got on the New York City subway after leaving a bus in Brooklyn.
Police got much more than they bargained for when they uncovered an unloaded shotgun & machete, plenty of ammunition, machine gun and handgun magazines, a laser for a shotgun, a military radio, and his old Marine Corps uniform.
The man’s mother told NBC that after three tours of Iraq, he apparently felt it was his duty to be a protector of the people since he allowed 9/11 to happen. She also said he is very kind and the nonviolent type.
Sounds like a case for a clinical examination for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder–not the Marine Batman. It’s likely he will be charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
Flip through the gallery to see the Rambo arsenal the man was holding on to. It looks like déjà vu of the ordeal that T.I. went through in 2008.
