RiFF RAFF has clearly seen better days.
He’s a couple of weeks away from releasing his much-delayed sophomore album Neon Icon and HipHopDX alleges that it is only one star out of a possible five. To add insult to injury, his rival melanin-challenged rapper, Hoodie Allen, just released the trending topic-bait “Nolan Ryan,” which is an adrenaline roller coaster rhyme exhibition that fires a few shots JODYHiGHROLLER’s way.
Backed by a soulful, bass heavy melody scored by !llmind, Allen gets his Twista on and slips in lyrics “I’m talking this and that, this and that/Identical twins, on me that’s a sister act/You like riff and raff but that’s piss and trash/I’m at the top of the game like aristocrats.”
Mind you the track was hot off the press but in the e-streets, word travels at the speed of light and the song didn’t even amass 100 plays before the eccentric southerner had plenty of retorts for the track. Not to mention, a serious lack of chill for the caps lock.
“R U REALLY TRYiN TO DiSS ME? HAHA U HAVE ZERO SONGS ON THE RADiO & EVEN iF U DiD iT WOULD BE BECUZ YOUR SHORT ASS SUCKED D**K,” Mr. RAFF questioned. “U THE TYPE OF “RAPPER” TO HAVE A FLANNEL ON AND A NOTEBOOK iN YOUR WALMART BACKPACK DONT EVER SPEAK MY NAME AGAiN U LiL FUK BOY @HoodieAllen.”
Realizing that his trolling tactic had proven successful, Allen continued to retweet all the mentions of the song as he preps his new album and a summer of touring on festivals.
JODYHiGHROLLER didn’t give up so easy. He began to squabble with a Hoodie Allen superfan as a consolation prize.
