Scarface called into DJ Whoo Kid’s radio show to speak on some of his recent endeavors, among which is his upcoming Deeply Rooted album. But nothing could have prepared listeners for the grand announcement of a possible collaborative body of work with Nas.

Scarface made the revelation after speaking on the nature of he and Nas’ relationship. “I talk to Nas probably like once or twice a month… maybe more than that,” Uncle Face said.

Scarface says that he’s “99.99999” sure that it “can and probably will happen,” but it’s a matter of how the project would be released. According to the Houston native, the duo have been in talks about dropping an album together for over a decade.

With a collaborative history that dates back to “Favor For a Favor” from Escobar’s 1999 LP, I Am, an album from the legendary duo could turn Hip-Hop on its ear. Hear Scarface speak more in the audio below.
